We have just completed our seventy-ninth day of school! Can you believe it? The year is moving by very quickly. I just wanted to let you know about some things that will be coming up before the break.
First, starting Thursday, Dec. 14 and going through Friday, Dec. 16 all grade levels will be completing the checkpoint testing. These test will be given from 8:00-9:40 each day. Please have your child here on time and well rested on these days.
Our Holiday party will be from 9:00-10:00 on Thursday, Dec. 22. We will have a book exchange among the students. Boys will need to bring a boy's book and a girl a girl's book. Each book should be new, wrapped and a name tag on it. The cost of the book should be between $5-$10.
We will have a test over the 13 Colonies on Friday, Dec. 16. Students have information and graphic organizers in their INB's. They should know each colony and the region to which it belongs, where it is located on the map, the climate, the geography, natural resources, and how people made their living.
